 Re: Project automatic bye bye
GOT THE TRANNY ON!!!!!Here are the pics the tranny was a bitch and it took 3 people to put it on two holding the tranny and me making sure the input shaft did not warp or put to much on the clutch disc. It was a real PITA putting the tranny but finally got it to sit right and sit flush with the motor with forcing it on. The clutch fork is also in the very middle which im hoping its suppose to be there right?? Here are the pics im still working on the car but the hardest part was been finished. The tranny bolted up and with the mount as well. Engine bay looks way better now I painted the engine flat black but just testing it out it looked it looks way better now. The clutch fork let me know if you guys think it looks right or what do I need to do, everything was torqued down to spec and its a brand new fork and ball and TOB along with a new TOB clip.

That pic does not justice on how it looks right now. The suspension yeah there are black but im not using that suspension anymore the tranny mount is black but the prothane isnt its just the regular black. The bracket for the tranny mount is powder coat black. The fuel filter is being replaced I dont know what that spider man looking things is lol.

 Re: Project automatic bye bye
Frank: thanks ive been wanting to join the club for a while lol
Pollo: ive always had more balls then alvin hahaha jk and thanks pollo all this just makes me want to finish it even more. The intermediate shaft was making not want to continue I was stressing it to much with the manager on my ass and then the stupid shaft.
Alright I managed to make the intermediate shaft bolt I didnt end up modifying it for some strange reason today it decided to behave and bolted up perfectly fine??? took some play but I got it on there. Now both axles are up and im around 70 percent done with the swap. Ill post pics later just figured id let you guys know where im at. Once I bolt up the transfer case I can lower the front of the car and begin at the rear which is easy.

 Re: Project automatic bye bye
I finished the front today tripple checked everything and made sure everything was bolted up and nothing was lose. The whole front of the car is done minus the wiring harnes and intake, piping, tb, and well I guess not completely done haha. Im throwing on the wiring harness right now and the rest of the small stuff. Here are some pics of the car and my boost leak that I could never find and kept hearing it was normal thats just air passing through the pipes I moved the power steering oil cooler thing to the back instead of leaving it were it was so this wont happen again. Drive side of the car I forgot how low my car was lol Passenger side of the car The boost leak that could never be found

 Re: Project automatic bye bye
Are you going to change the rear diff gears? Im under the impression that auto and manual transmissions have different gear ratios. Please correct me if i am wrong.
