 Starter wire -_-
Just wanted to know if anyone of you guys have had this stupid problem with the starter on your cars. I had my friend help me do the starter on my car, starter works great but this stupid wire keeps coming off at the worst times. Does this happen often? My old starter never did this and i don't know anyone that's had the same problem. Its not a huge problem but its really annoying. I marked the pin in the picture below (starter just for reference) where the wire connects to. My friend said to crimp it down but i want to know if this is the best thing to do. I don't really want to bend it and have problems with it later.

I used a sewing needle and some pliers. Ask Gus.

 Re: Starter wire -_-
Shoved the needle through the opening on the clip and bent it to make a lock. Ghetto fabulous but it worked like a charm .

 Re: Starter wire -_-
DAMN!!! alright so i drove my car for a longer period than usual and got to the place with no problems. Left after 20 min or so and guess what? Starter doesnt want to turn. I've had quite a bit of issues when it comes to starters. The one where the starter clicks with a turn of the key and took over 10 turns for it to start it... if youre lucky. Second issue was a starter that was griding. Third, the wire coming off the pin and now this. After the car sat for a few hours car started up fine but if i try to start it within an hour or so i have to turn the keys a few times for it to start. Any suggestions can it be that i need a new starter, starter relay, ignition switch going bad. Need some help!!

 Re: Starter wire -_-
maybe the started is overheating, solenoid getting stuck, then it cools down and the solenoid is back to normal.
