You don't have to go all the way back to stock. The t25 sucks balls and you can run a 14B or a 16G (only on wastegate pressure) without fuel mods. I would say the 20G is a nice turbo to hang on to for when you get your motor built and have the supporting mods.

For now I would say see if you can get a 14B or 16G cheap and put it on. And if your current motor runs then I would say get all the supporting parts such as intercooler, fuel system, tuning solution (ECMlink or something similar), all parts that can go with the new engine and put them on the current engine and get it running good.

Your stock engine can handle a 20G if you can provide it with enough fuel and have a way to tune it.

ok thanks that was helpufull. know with that i found out my issue the waste gate is not opening at all im not sure why? so my buddy twas opening it and colseing by hand and wow it made my day couse i actually got to her my car run for more then a second. know with the 16g will it bolt up to the aftermarket headers cause as of now the 20g will bolt rite up

It should bolt up, but you might want to start calling it an exhaust manifold. Idk if you can call it a header but defenitely not headers "s" for plural. You only have one. But the bolts should line up.

yes im positive the issue was like i ave said if i were to start the car it would start and instintly die. weird! when my buddy would upen and close thee waste gate by hand it would stay running. now i have people who would trade but what would be a better route a 16g or t28

Unless your turbo is seized up in a way that it was blocking exhaust and stalling out your motor for some reason, I don't see how what you're saying make sense. All that flapper does is bypass the exhaust gas around the turbo.

i undestand. but it also doesnt make any sence to me the turbo isnt seized its was a brand new not rebuilt or anything. i plan on putting it to stock and go from there

take a pic and post this said waste gate your friend was holding open by hand. Sure was the gate and not your throttle body? Cus the gate is a bit hard to hold open by hand, You can make it stay open with a air compressor, but not hand. If you did, you wont be holding for long cus your hand would start smelling like bacon.

yes i am i am asking can i put on the 16g i have been readin up and they say its safe if you have a boost controller and keep it below 15psi they do recomend puting 550 injectors to be safe and can i run the stock ic for testing and when its running throw on the fm i cant post a pic of the waste gate and yes im positive he was opening and closeing it my bad for not saying he was useing pliersto do so
