 Re: Wes's 2.3l 6-bolt build
With the wife in Vegas and me home with Lily I'm not getting anything done this weekend. I will be working on it Monday after my Lab at school so from about 5:30 on into the evening. I say we move the meet to the shop

Is this thing only going to be for senior members because I would be so down to go to this and learn something new. What shop is he talking about his own garage or no.

 Re: Wes's 2.3l 6-bolt build
It is at my friend Brian's shop in San Dimas. It isn't a business but just some shop space he leases to work on his off road vehicles. The shop is at 231 W. Allen Ave. San Dimas Ca. 91773 Here is a picture showing where in the business park it is. I will be there trying to get the car running and welcome all help and people just hanging out that want to come by.

 Re: Wes's 2.3l 6-bolt build
My car has been there for weeks, I will be there by 6:00 tonight. I don't think the meet has been officially moved but anyone who wants to come by and help/hang out is welcome.

 Re: Wes's 2.3l 6-bolt build
The car has a motor in it now and all I have to do this Wednesday is hook up all the electrical, plumb my oil cooler, and hook my intercooler pipe and I get to see if it will fire up and run like a champ.

 Re: Wes's 2.3l 6-bolt build
I'm not sure, I'm going to try to get some stuff done tonight and then work on it tomorrow early in the day. My wife has a 4:45 doctors appointment so I have to be back home and cleaned up to watch Lily then.

 Re: Wes's 2.3l 6-bolt build
Thanks Edger but tomorrow I have school all day. I'm hoping to get it running tonight. As soon as my wife get's back from a Doctors appointment I'm going to go and try to finish it up.

 Re: Wes's 2.3l 6-bolt build
Fucking small stuff is killing me. I had to re-do the turbo oil drain line last night as it was hitting my wideband O2 once I installed my downpipe. I also need to go pick up a bleed screw for the Isuzu slave cylinder since the one on it got damaged in shipping and the bleed screw from the stock slave cylinder doesn't fit.
But on the plus side I have the oil cooler hooked up and plumbed, the cooling system is in, all the suspension and under car stuff is back in, and the engine, trans, and cooling system are all full of fluid.
Hopefully tomorrow will see the car run. I just need to reconnect the wiring harness, bleed my clutch system, and put my upper inter-cooler pipe and battery back in the car.

 Re: Wes's 2.3l 6-bolt build
Hope your 50trim will be impressive. Hopefully yours will break the mold. Tuned one last night, still not impressed. Lagged harder than playing an FPS on full settings on 56K dialup on an old e-machine with a CyrixM2 333mhz cpu, and a onboard 4mb video card sharing memory with systems 64mb of SDRam... Im talking 1psi at 4K, 5psi at 5K, 10psi at 6K, 16psi at 6.5K, 19psi at 7K. 290awhp. WAAACK! On a good note, the motor was running 18~19* of peak timing, and 11.4:1 afr pretty happy.
