the 3.55 is in now way quicker. IT will actually make you accelerate slower.
It will help if you want better fuel milage ( your engine will rev lower while going 70 or so).
Or if you are having traction issues as it is due to 1st being pretty much worthless thanks to build you are running.
That makes it a bad choice for 90% of the cars on here(420a).

the neons have a better 0-60 how in the world would it make you slower? only difference is that ratios are shorter but thanks for your concern

Wrong. This is from the SOHC neons in the earlier years, most newer ones.
Neons have faster times because they are lighter and with the same engine.
The gears come from the SOHC neons which have a bit more torque then the DOHC hence... they can use it to move better. Since we lack a bit, they make up for it in the gearing... Read that page on 2gnt and do some research.
The bell housing bolts right up. The only difference is that the earlier years of the neon used the cable clutch instead of a hydraulic setup like ours. This is not the case on the newer ones and the 2001 + will bolt up without a problem.
edgar, Im using a clutch type LSD from Retrofit.
