 My prob is kinda old... But I still wana ask.
when u reply place 1. then ur answer...2. then ur answer 
1. I'm sure everyone knows I have a fugly tranny leak (seals).
Anyone know of any tranny spots that do decent work on auto trans?
Aamco wanted to drop my tranny for 675 (inspect only) and if it was a reseal kit that was needed Id shoot up the price to 1300, or more if it needed a rebuild ($3,000).
2. I'm leaning to just doing a tranny swap...
Do you agree?

2. Do the swap if you can. I have a 4 speed also and if i had the parts/money i would do the swap ASAP. Everyone on 2gnt.com recommends it. Im pretty sure you'll feel more of a difference on your 4g63

1) innercity transmissions in south gate does pretty good work, they rebuild transmissions for $550 with free towing (not that you need yours to be towed)

there's their info. i got my tranny rebuilt for my 1g there and i'd recommend them.
2) atx to mt swap would be beneficial for you, but then again you have to find a good tranny and the linkage and clutch pedal assembly and whatnot and might be more work that you'd like to get done to the car. a few days ago i saw a mt off a gst on craigslist for $400 i think.
