It just seems like the pipe should have the hks flange on top and have the end pointing downards. Am i correct? or am I putting in the pipe the wrong way. if i have the flange facing up, and connect the longer end to the throttle body, then the shorter end faces upward, which makes it difficult to make it go down to the core
if i have the flange facing dowward, connecting the longer end the the throttle body, then the shorter end faces downward, which makes it easy to go down to the core but my bov would be upside down.

What is the problem with having the BOV pointing downwards? On my old RRE UICP, they installed the flange on the underside of the pipe and everything worked out fine. |

My Bov is upside down and it's from Dejon Tool. upside down to the side doesn't matter the pressure will still push the bov open. |

Deja Vu!!!! I just saw this question, with the same pics posted to DSMTUNERS website a bit ago. Or it could have been on DSMTALK. Wow!!! I would send the pipe back and have them make you one with the flange on top. If you call, I don't think Tom would have any problem hooking you up. I got an ETS fmic also, and didnt have that prob though. I do have a 1g bov though. They may do that to hks bovs for a reason??? |

i really dont see the reason WHY they would do this. If it was some cheap 300 dollar kit from ebay I wouldnt care. I didnt pay 827 for an upside bov, plus another guy with an hks bov couldnt recirculate his bov because of the placement of the flange. not that i recirculate, but it just shouldnt be upside down!! |

Well you are an idiot for paying 827 for an entire front mount setup...I assume that this included a FMIC...that is way too much fucking money for pipes. And what fucking difference does it really make in terms of the location of your BOV? Maybe you should have had it custom made so that everything would be to your liking. |

either way, bov upside or not upside. HERES THE REAL PROBLEM. okay its official that bov tube is WRONG...i looked at numerous other ets users and the angle of my bov tube is just different. it's suppose to angle down at an earlier point OR it's suppose to have 2 tubes connecting to throttle body like other people's kits. as you can see, there is no way I can put the pipe above the intake because of the water coolant.
it's suppose to go under, but it goes right in front of my intake..
it's SUPPOSE to angel where the finger is pointing to make it work
