Didn't you read the directions?
I mean its only your boost CONTROL system!?!
there is no way to change the values from percents. thats just the way it is. you CAN change the measurement value from KPA to PSI though.
please note that if you are useing PSI that it is not displayed with a decimal point, so 14.5 PSI is read like this: 145.
MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT DO THIS WHILE TRYING TO DRIVE!
HAVE SOMEONE IN THE CAR WITH YOU TO MAKE THE ADJUSTMENTS!
ok its like this...
from a blank screen on the low setting turn the knob till you get a certain value. lets say 22. this is your set setting. dont forget to push in on the knob to save the setting.
then push the select button. this will bring up gain.
use the knob to set gain at lets say 15.
push select again to get start boost. this is labeled as set gain. this is used to set your wastegate response faster or slower. set it as colose to the set setting as possible without spikeing. if it spikes back off the set gain.
press select again.
next is your warning. you will notice that the warning feature is actually read in PSI(or KPA is thats your preference).
you set this as the absolute highest boost you do not want to pass.
lets say 20(to account for spikes).
press select again for you limit feature. when your boost excedes the amount you set in the warning meter, the limiter will automaticaly reduce your boost by a set amount(read in %). 0% disables the limiter and 99% turns the profec to neutral(not interfering with the wastegate any more).
press select again. this is your peak boost. this displays the highest boost you have recorded since the last reset. at this screen you can press and hold the set button for 1 second to reset it.
last is your most important setting! this is your last boost setting. this shows and holds(for 3 seconds) the last peak boost of every run you make.
the display will say on or off. turn the knob to change to one or the other and push in to save the setting.
experiment with your setting until you find a set up that works well for you. once you have a good feeling for the values and how they work you can set up your high boost feature and switch between the two as you wish.
do not set your high boost too high, especially if you are running with a larger turbo and useing a tuning tool(safc). the reason for this is that if you are tuned on a certain boost then go out, hit your high boost and wonder what that loud bang was(your engine) its because you have all you tuning set for a lower boost and only raised the boost.
just be careful.
a lot of people knock the profec b spec 2 when in reality they don't know how to work it properly. it has a lot of very good features to play with(and master).
happy boosting(responsibly)
