So I thought my knock sensor was dead guess not. Today I was on my way to work and I decided to do a pull and it pulled fine no problem. Later on today the same thing it felt like I was towing something. I noticed it only acts up when it gets really HOT. I dont know if it had to do something with past days of it being super hot. Also my TPS is adjusted to much to were it brings down the idle im not sure if that has something to do with it. When the check engine light come on its for the knock sensor the car feels slow. Sometimes it will pull normal I can build boost and go. I dont know if this problem is heat related and my temps read normal. Im buying a knock sensor and see if the problem goes away. Is this a bad knock sensor or is my motor actually knocking and the ECU is being safe and messing with timing. Im also running with no thermostat and one of the pulls I did I know how knock sounds it happens all the time when Sam is tuning jk lol. I herd that stupid loud hissing noise. |
