ok so my clutch is really bad now...feels like it's slipping all the time now. I don't really have alot of money to do a performance clutch right now...so if I do a stock clutch replacement...how long do you guys think the stock clutch will last with a setup like mine? Running an Evo3 16g with about 10 to 15 ilbs of boost. Also quick question...would a slipping clutch keep the car from bulding boost aswell? Feel like I get almost no boost now and wondering if it could also have a boost leak...or if it's just because of the clutch.. lastly...i think I will probably have to replace the flywheel too...would it be ok to put a lightweight flywheel on with a stock clutch? thanx. +1 for the ACT 2100 w/ street disk IMO, getting a stock clutch is a waste of money with your setup. I ran the ACT 2100/street disk combo on my '95 GST for a long time and it is a great clutch for a daily driver/low horsepower car. The pedal effort is almost like stock, the engagement is smooth, and it will take much more abuse than a stock clutch. |
