I just got my head back and i am putting everything back together. But yesterday we put the head on and it wont sit right it leans i dont know if its the valves that stick out more or what the heck! need help guys??!! |

What do you mean the head leans like it won't sit flush with deck of the block or what. Th e valves shouldn't matter if there open or not they don't touch the block whatsoever they open within the cylinder chamber. Oh yeah what headgasket are you gonna use and don't reuse the stock headbolts. Get some ARP's. Since everything is apart right now. Post a pic of your problem or something. Did they resurface the head or what. |

The head is not properly on the dowels, or is stuck on something. I really hope you didn't torque it down like that. |

Well it sits better then b4 it has apr heads studs so y buy other ones.(wally) I haven't torqued it down yet planning on doing that 2moro ill post picz tomorrow morning |

Your doing it wrong if its not sitting flush against the block. |
