It depends on what your plans for the car are, if you are just looking to replace stock struts then KYB GR2s are are almost the same as the stock ones they are slightly better (the stock struts are made by KYB) If you are looking for better handling or plan on lowering I would suggest Tokico Illuminas.

I have the tokico's on my car and they feel pretty good. But the next time I need to do suspension work I am going with a full coilover setup.

I don't know anyone who is running the Monroes. Plenty of people have run the kybs and have been happy with them.
