mhh so after much thought im pondering this idea. if i take apart a 1g mas and find the sensors that are out and splice them into the wiering could i have an actual working ait and baro sensors instead of my maft always sending out those fake signals? |

To answer both of your questions is I tought about running the 2g mas but I don't have money for one or a safc. And I have a 1g mas somewhere laying around I just need to find it. In other words I'm a broke musician with no job and no money |

No you cant. The MAFT works off of those values being locked. The GM maf send out signals for mass air flow directly. The DSM maf sends out a karmen vortex, then the ecu takes the vortex count, ait, and baro to determine airflow. The MAFT will take the AIT signal and Baro signal and lock it, then take direct airflow count and convert it back to a karmen count that will turn back to an airflow value close to the direct count. That's if its calibrated. |
