Any one heard of some one swaping a evo8 engine into a 1g gsx???? |

It would be a ridiculously hard swap to pull off. The evo8 engine is backwards from the 4663's in the Eclipses. It is much cheaper and easier to build a nice 6-bolt stroker. I don't know if anyone has done it but in my opinion it is a waste of time money and effort. |

I havent seen any yet. It would be hard becuse the EVO VIII engine sits 180 degrees from the 1g motor, there are some 2gnts with EVO VIII swaps its easier to swap with the 420a because it sits the same way but its still very expinsive and a lot of work. Its probably not worth it because the 1g already has motor that has just about the same potential as the EVO motor. With less work and less money you could build a 600+ HP 1g. |
