| Post subject: | ALT Fuse Keeps blowing |
My car has been sitting for a while. Im trying to start it but the 80A ALT fuse keeps popping. I have replaced it twice already and I dont know what could be the problem. the car is not getting any power anywhere. No lights turn on. NO power. Right before all this started happening. The fans turned on and then went off, since than everytime I replace the fuse it just blows once I connect the negative terminal. Can anyone help me diagnose this issue? |

power short between the fuse box and alternator. Pretty simple. |

Might be a short in the alternator it self. Take it out and get it tested. |
